SSW Alumnus, John Ayers Receives Citation as First African American Volunteer Resource Director of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.

On January 27th, SSW Alumnus John Ayers will be presented with a citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for his work as the first African American Volunteer Resource Director of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.  My Ayers, a resident of Penn Hills, is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and the first recipient of the Hill House Fellowship.
