On January 27th, SSW Alumnus John Ayers will be presented with a citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for his work as the first African American Volunteer Resource Director of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. My Ayers, a resident of Penn Hills, is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and the first recipient of the Hill House Fellowship. You can read his citation here.
