Admission Qualifications

Applicants to the MSW program must exhibit potential and professional capabilities essential to function effectively in a graduate school environment.

Advanced Standing

Students who enter the MSW Program with full advanced standing can complete their program with a minimum of 39 credits, with full-time enrollment options for both 12-month (fall, spring, summer) and 16-month (fall, spring, fall) options.

Dual/Joint/Cooperative Degrees

Some students seek to complement their social work education and training by earning a degree in another discipline or profession. 

Bradford Campus MSW Program

The Pitt-Bradford MSW program provides the opportunity to earn an MSW degree on a part-time, structured basis at the University's campus in Bradford, Pa.

Johnstown Campus MSW Program
