Currently Seeking Professional Educational Instructors
The Office of Continuing Education is seeking experienced professional education instructors in the social work, professional counseling, and marriage and family therapy fields. We strive to provide the best resources for the helping professionals community of Pennsylvania and New York states. This includes working with a diverse group of CE instructors.
New Instructors: If you have experience and are interested in developing and presenting workshops on the topics listed below, please make sure to fill out a trainer application which can be found here: CE Instructor Application
Returning Instructors: If you would like to come back and and instruct another workshop for us, then you will need to download and complete the Proposal Submission Form and email it to molly.allwein@pitt.edu

- Suicide prevention
- Aging/Death and Dying
- Family Systems Theory (MFT)
- Topics around Neurodivergence
- Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and more
- Rape & Sexual Assault
- Family Violence
- Political Asylum Seekers, Refugees, Immigrants
- Body Positivity - Health at Every Size
- Gun Violence
- Marital Rape
- Grieving the Loss of a Child or Coworker
Course content we are NOT able to offer at this time (due to already having content in these area) would include:
