Dr. Shaun Eack has been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor with tenure effective September 1, 2014.Groundbreaking research into psychosocial treatments of neurodevelopmental conditions, such as schizophrenia and autism, is being done by Dr. Shaun Eack and his team. Most recently, Eack and his colleagues received a $3.1 million grant from the National Institute of Mental Health to test whether early intervention with people soon after they become ill with schizophrenia will help to alter the often negative and debilitating course of the condition.
