Pitt-Assisted Communities & Schools (PACS) is partnering with the Homewood Children's Village on their Community Schools Attendance event. Pitt volunteers will be canvassing residents & business owners in the Homewood community to stress the importance of regular and on-time school attendance. This opportunity is part of a community-wide effort to raise awareness about the importance of attendance and support a Homewood specific messaging campaign related to the role of the community in promoting school attendance. Participants will canvass the community, passing out materials related to the Homewood attendance initiative and promoting the community schools effort to Homewood business and community institutions. Date: Saturday, September 17th Time: 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Transportation pick-up time: 9:00 a.m. (Bigelow Blvd., in front of the Cathedral) Transportation drop-off time: 12:30 p.m. T-shirts & snacks will be provided!
