Volunteers from Pitt’s Transgender Working Group and PQP are planning a “Trans-In Teach-In” from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 12 in the Assembly Room of the William Pitt Union.
Three morning sessions will include topics such as transgender history, trans allyship, and organizing and activism in the 21st Century. A panel discussion, Hugh Lane training, and luncheon also are scheduled. Registration is requested but the event is free.
