The Diversity Committee of the SEC has created a petition that will be sent to Chancellor Gallagher and the Board of Trustees with the follow demands related to inclusive restrooms on campus:
1) an increase in the number of single-occupancy/all-gender restrooms on University of Pittsburgh campuses,
2) transparency from the university regarding installation of single-occupancy/all-gender restrooms in future construction, and
3) updated policies system-wide with a commitment to providing single-occupancy/all-gender restrooms in renovations and new construction.
