Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion James Huguley and his team won the $115,000 Pitt Innovation Challenge for their project Parenting While Black: Intergenerational Innovation, a program that provides African American parents with tools to promote positive racial socialization, mental health, and academic achievement for their adolescents.
