BASW Program Director Toya Jones will be presenting Trauma-Informed Courts at the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges (PCSTJ) Mid-Annual conference this Friday, February 24th. Learning Objectives are:
- Identify signs of post-traumatic stress in court users
- Recognize the neurological effects of trauma and how it impacts a witness or litigant
- Fashion court orders and sentences being mindful of how trauma has impacted the individual
