Transgender Day of Visibility panel & webinar

March 26, 2021 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm

MOGI, Pitt’s LGBTQ+ Graduate Student group, is hosting a Transgender Day of Visibility panel & webinar on Friday, March 26th at 6pm. The panel will honor the contributions of the trans community at the university, raise awareness of the discrimination that the community faces on campus, and provide recommendations for making Pitt a safer, more affirming place for trans people. If you are interested in attending the webinar, we ask that you please register in advance in order to receive the Zoom link.

The panel will be moderated by Anna Shaw (they/them) MSW ‘21 and will highlight the experiences of Gracie Jane Gollinger (she/her) from Pitt IT, Drew Medvid (he/him) Pitt ‘19 and Dylan Kapit (they/them) PhD ‘24.

Transgender Day of Visibility itself is on 3/31 and on that day MOGI will be featuring members of PItt’s trans community on our Instagram, @mogigpsa. If you are interested in being featured on our Instagram on TDoV, please send us a photo of yourself and a 3-5 sentence bio to mogigpsa@gmail.com
