Application Process

Application Deadlines

Applications for the fall 2020 term only will open on September 20, 2019, rather than anticipated date of September 1, 2019 as we are in the process of making updates to the application portal to improve the application experience.

There are two application deadline dates for the MSW program.

All full-time, first time, MSW applicants who have an overall minimum grade point average of 3.4 and complete the MSW application before our Priority Admissions Deadline Date of January 20, 2020 will be guaranteed acceptance to the School and merit scholarship assistance. The School’s regular admissions deadline is May 31.

Priority Admissions Deadline extended ONLY for International students to January 10, 2020. International Students’ TOEFL scores must be received by deadline date.

The School encourages all MSW applicants to submit a completed application by our priority admissions deadline date, but does not guarantee admission or scholarship awards to applicants whose grade point average is less than a 3.4.

If your application is completed by May 31 (the regular deadline), you still may be eligible to receive a scholarship award from the school, budget dependent.

Please note that only applicants applying for full-time enrollment (12 credits/term) with minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.4 for their undergraduate studies will be considered for merit scholarships.

Detailed instructions regarding application requirements are included when an applicant establishes a pin and password. Please do not start more than one application.

*Johnstown and Bradford campus, part-time applicants must submit their applications for the MSW degree program by June 30.
