Staff Profile: Anna Lausberg

Anna Lausberg is celebrating 5 years here at the University of Pittsburgh! Anna has been in her current position as a research specialist in the School of Social Work in Dr. Shaun Eack’s lab since 2016. In her current position she is responsible for conducting the lab’s neuropsychological testing, fMRI’s, and data management for the PACES and Perspectives studies. She also conducts clinical interviews in Dr. Carla Mazefsky’s lab. In 2019 she enrolled in the School of Education’s Higher Education Management master’s program focusing in student affairs. She completed her degree in April 2022.

"Anna is a consummate professional who has demonstrated unwavering dedication to helping individuals with autism and schizophrenia through clinical research.  She exemplifies the best qualities of a research specialist, particularly her organization, attention to detail, and compassion in working with individuals with disabilities," said Dr. Eack. 

"We are so happy to have Anna as part of our team at the ASCEND Lab.  Not only does she work well with individuals with autism and schizophrenia, making them feel at ease, but she also has a great attitude making when working on projects with her coworkers," shared . P.J.
