School of Social Work student interns at the Homewood Children's Village and School of Social Work alumnae Detria Dixon, Kellie Irwin, Dawn Gordon, and Annette Giovanazzi are finding ways to address the many needs of children — such as hunger, homelessness, violence in their homes or communities, grief, mental health issues and inadequate clothing — that are barriers to their learning.
