Doctoral student Daniel Jacobson recently founded the first Latino Graduate Student Group at the University of Pittsburgh.  The Latin American Graduate Organization of Students (LAGOS) is open to all graduate and professional students at Pitt. "I felt this was very important as Pitt did not have a Latino grad group and decided to found the group to support Latino students at the University," says Jacobson.They have an e-board and Facebook page, and plan to have cultural events, Latino networking events, and a Bienvenida (welcome) event in the spring.
