Professor Christina Newhill is a founding member of Pitt’s latest affinity group that hopes to bring together people from all sides of adoption, including adoptees, adoptive parents and birth parents. The group — Pitt Adoption Community for Education — is less about emotional support and more focused on the study and discussion of adoption and the issues that surround it.
