SSW doctoral students have led the efforts to create a new event that will offer a forum for sharing work, getting to know what’s going on, and facilitating the types of exchanges that support a stimulating intellectual environment/culture. Research Break is designed as a venue for everyone in the school to share ongoing work, get feedback, and generally build our collaborative community via “works in progress” sharing/discussions. Research Break will begin with a kick off presentation by PhD alumna Patricia Bamwine titled “The Narratives of Adolescent Homicide Survivors: Utilization of the Meaning Reconstruction Methodology."
