Clinical Assistant Professor and Agency Coordinator, Child Welfare Education and Research Program Yodit Betru has been named the new MSW Program Director.
"I look forward to engaging and learning from our students, staff, faculty, alumni, and from our partners locally and nationally" said Betru. "Pitt’s MSW program is renowned because of its top rate students, staff, and faculty, and I am excited to be a champion for our program and for the profession. It is my hope that my experience of working with stakeholders across the commonwealth, and with other universities across Pennsylvania, will contribute to what makes our school unique."
