Faculty members win PInCh award

Professor Valire Copeland and Associate Dean for Research and Browne Chair Shaun Eack are part of a winning team for a $25,000 Pitt Innovation Challenge 2020 award for their part of the project "Thinking in Speech." A cognitive therapy that helps children with autism independently cope with everyday events that cause stress, by developing their ability to use “inner speech” – the voice in our heads we use to think.
