Catherine (Katie) Greeno has been named Associate Dean for Research. Dr. Greeno’s research program has aimed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and community practice. Her current studies focus on long-term outcomes for people discharged from a long-stay state psychiatric hospital as part of its closure, and the implementation of reformed standards for case management for mental health consumers in Allegheny County. She holds a doctorate from Stanford University, and has been a member of the faculty of the School of Social Work since 1999.
