The Alumni Ambassador program, formerly known as the Alumni Council, serves as a bridge between Pitt Social Work and the Social Work community. Ambassadors are actively committed to:
- Connecting current students and alumni for different types of mentoring.
- Promoting career advancement and strategic networking across the Pitt Social Work community.
- Recognizing alumni excellence through the Alumni Awards program.
- Advancing the impact of the social work profession in the community.
So why become an ambassador?
Alumni become ambassadors for many reasons, including the opportunity to:
- Reconnect with former classmates and meet fellow alumni
- Share experiences and expertise with interested students
- Give back and stay connected to Pitt Social Work
- And more!
You do not have to live in Pittsburgh to be a member! Many alumni live outside of the Pittsburgh area. Opportunities are shared as they become available, and the Ambassador program gladly welcomes all Pitt Social Work alumni who are interested in participating.
