Tyler S. Verin is the Assistant Director – Finance, Human Resources & Administration for the Child Welfare Education and Research Programs (CWERP). He oversees the financial, administrative, general operations, and human resources functions for the CWERP programs, which include two statewide education programs, Child Welfare Education for Baccalaureates (CWEB) and Child Welfare Education for Leadership (CWEL); the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center (CWRC); and the Allegheny County Office of Children, Youth and Families training department.
Tyler is an experienced manager with a demonstrated history of working in higher education. Prior to joining CWERP, he served as a Sourcing Specialist at the University of Pittsburgh; Manager of the Pittsburgh Satellite Office Government Agency Coordination Office, PTAC at Pennsylvania Western University – California; and was employed as a Management Consultant, focusing on strategic management and economic impact for major cities and universities.
Tyler is a proud Pitt alumnus with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in General Management. He also received his Master of Public Administration from the College of Business and Public Management at West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
In his spare time, Tyler enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, playing games, and attending Pittsburgh sporting events.
