Spencer Scott
- Restorative Practice Coordinator, Just Discipline Project
Spencer L. Scott is a restorative practices coordinator for the Just Discipline Project. He is a hip-hop educator and entrepreneur whose work in school and community-based learning spaces, uses expression through the arts to forward socio-emotional approaches to teaching, critical mentoring, coaching, and entrepreneurship. A proud native of Anniston, AL, Spencer attended illustrious Stillman College, an HBCU in Tuscaloosa, AL. Upon graduating with honors, BA in Elementary Education, Spencer served as a K-6 teacher and interscholastic varsity coach for football and track and field. Since moving to Pittsburgh in 2018, Spencer has actively contributed to the greater Pittsburgh learning community. Immediately before his current role with Just Discipline, had served 2 years as a Center for Urban Education Heinz Fellow. Read more about Spencer here: www.spencerlscott.com
