Melvin Cherry, Jr.
- Field Education Coordinator, Faculty Instructor
Field Education Coordinator Melvin Cherry, Jr. received his MSW from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work in 2006. Prior to joining the School of Social Work’s Office of Field Education, Cherry worked in University of Pittsburgh’s Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. Cherry also has many years of experience in social work prevention, having worked in children and youth services.
Cherry is currently an Ed. D. candidate studying Social and Comparative Analysis in the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Education.
