Save the Date: April 8th Rubash Lecture

Pitt Law and Pitt's School of Social Work are pleased to co-host the 2026 Rubash Lecture. We are honored to welcome Dr. Micah Johnson, Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine, as this year's distinguished speaker. During his lecture, titled "Trauma and Juvenile Justice," Dr. Johnson offers a behavioral health framework for understanding how trauma and systems-level inequities shape youth wellbeing, safety, and pathways into juvenile justice involvement.

The lecture will take place on Wednesday, April 8th from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. in the Teplitz Memorial Moot Courtroom, Barco Law Building, 3900 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15260.

A reception will immediately follow from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the Alcoa Room (Room 229), also located in the Barco Law Building.
