Session 1 Details:

Reclaiming Our Why in Challenging Times This 45-minute session offers participants a space to reflect and reconnect with their purpose for engaging in racial equity work in a time of mounting resistance. We’ll explore how recent backlash is part of a long pattern of pushback that has always followed progress. Using the racial equity consciousness framework, participants will clarify their personal and collective “why” and examine what is at risk when this work is abandoned. Through a brief seminar and reflection, attendees will leave re-centered and grounded in a sense of purpose. This session reminds us that our commitment matters most when it’s under threat.

*Note: we will have 2 additional sessions this fall, one in October and November. Stay tuned for more details!
