In 2017, the Pittsburgh Wage Study was formed and included faculty members from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work and Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, students from the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs of these two schools, in addition to ongoing consultation with SEIU. Between 2018 and 2023, five waves of survey data were collected, supplemented and enhanced by three waves of in-depth interviews and one set of focus groups with workers.
This report catalogues the products and dissemination from the Pittsburgh Wage Study over the last nine years of this collaboration.
