Associate Professor Deborah Moon, Ph.D., Director of the Flourish Research Lab, has received a renewal of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Loan Repayment Program (LRP) award from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). The renewed award will support her research agenda, From Prevention to Promotion: Advancing Family Flourishing and Well-Being-Oriented Systems. Through multiple interconnected studies, Dr. Moon is developing new measures, interventions, and implementation strategies to promote family flourishing and advance the transformation of child- and family-serving systems from deficit-oriented models focused on preventing harm to well-being-oriented systems that support families in thriving.
