SSW doctoral student, Jenn Lee, will begin a position as an Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. In this role, she will educate predoctoral dental students and residents on addressing the social drivers of oral health in practice. She will also implement and evaluate the integration of social work services within the Medically Complex Patient (MCP) Clinic in Boston to help address barriers and complexities in oral health care.
This position is part of a five-year, $1.5 million HRSA-funded initiative to advance integrated care and interprofessional training for dental students who work with medically and socially complex patient populations.
