SSW doctoral student, Jenn Lee, has been elected as a Student Liaison for the Oral Health Section of the American Public Health Association (APHA). She was selected through a vote among three candidates. It was the first time in APHA history that an individual with a social work background has held a leadership position within the Oral Health Section. In this role, Jenn will work closely with section leadership to design and lead student engagement events, advocate for student involvement and leadership opportunities, and participate in decision-making as a member of the Section Council.
