Congratulations! Dr. Ron Idoko, Assistant Director for the Center on Race and Social Problems has been named Outstanding Educator by the Pennsylvania State Coalition of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. (NCNW). NCNW is a non-profit organization founded in 1935 by Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune. Its mission is to advance opportunities and the quality of life for African American women, their families, and communities.
The NCNW wrote: “As a dedicated Distinguished Educator for many years, your work has helped to make a real difference in the lives of African American women and their families. You are a role model for all of us, and we are grateful for your commitment to making our world a better place.”
Dr. Idoko will be honored at the 4th Annual Pennsylvania Bethune Height Recognition Program (BHRP) luncheon on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. The event will be held at Hershey Lodge 325 University Drive Hershey PA 17033. Tickets are available here.
