MSW Graduate Chris Meyer Repairs Wheelchairs to Give Others Mobility After retiring from social work five years ago, Chris Meyer wasn't finished with helping people. After the Haiti earthquake in 2010, he turned his focus to repairing and cleaning used and discarded crutches, walkers and wheelchairs -- helping roughly 500 people a year to regain their mobility.
