RISE-MH: Center for Research on Innovations, Services and Equity in Mental Health

Pitt's campus

RISE-MH aims to become Pittsburgh’s go-to hub for researchers aiming to move the needle on mental health services in the regionally, nationally and internationally.

RISE-MH convenes researchers and community partners to conduct projects with immediately actionable findings for community mental health service providers.

RISE-MH is housed in the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work, which was the site of one of the first NIMH-funded Centers for Mental Health Services Research, and carries forward the School’s longstanding commitment to this work.
