Dean Larry Davis has won the 2018 Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR) Distinguished Career Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding scholarship, impact on the profession, and major contributions to social work knowledge development. The award will be presented at the Annual SSWR conference in Washington, DC. Dean Davis is the only person to have won both the SSWR and Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Career Achievement awards.
