To Paradise by Hanya Yanagihara

May 4th | 6 - 7 PM EST | 4217 Posvar Hall and Zoom

Join us for the second installment of our 2022-23 Global Literary Encounters series, where we will discuss Hanya Yanagihara's To Paradise, a bold, brilliant novel spanning three centuries and three different versions of the American experiment, about lovers, family, loss and the elusive promise of utopia.

This book discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Mary Rauktis, Research Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work.

Global Literary Encounters book discussions are pre-lecture discussions that align with the Pittsburgh Arts & Lecture's Ten Evenings series. Global Literary Encounters put prominent world authors and their work in a global perspective in order to provide additional insight on writers and engaging issues.
