Pittsburgh Welcomes Victoria Naalongo Namuissi “Mama Victoria” from Uganda, Africa!

Come hear from an African change-maker who is doing transformative work in Uganda!  Mama Victoria is the founder and director of Bright Kids Uganda, an organization that provides, schooling, shelter, and love for children who are abandoned, orphaned, and a place that provides support for parents who are unable to care for their children.  She is the founder of Noah’s Ark, a school for children with disabilities. She also provides emotional, social, and financial support for acid attack survivors and people living with albinism. Join us in hearing her share her African-centered empowerment model for justice and restorative work. There will be beautiful artisan goods available for purchase from the Ugandan women that she supports.
