Join us on Saturday, September 25th at Sunny's Community Garden in the Hill District. Hear how Sunny's partnered with the Center that Cares to provide a space for neighbors to meet, learn about growing vegetables (and take some home!) and socialize. One of our alums will update you on therapeutic horticulture while you enjoy a light meal. This event is the first of many we have planned for the year where we get out and give back to the Pittsburgh community. Even if you’re just in town for the weekend, we’d love to have you, doing one of the things social workers do best: volunteering!
