Inclusive Language Training on Tuesday, October 15 from 12-1pm in CL2017. This training will offer attendees the opportunity to learn about gender within cultures/systems/interpersonal exchanges. This one-hour training will aim to clarify misconceptions about gender v. sex, illuminate the importance of respecting pronouns and identities, provide folks with alternatives to binary assumptions, and offer the space to make mistakes in an effort to move towards inclusive language together. Questions and thoughts, which are rooted in good faith, are welcome. Open to all SSW Students, Faculty, and Staff.
