In this workshop, participants will explore the variables at play in addressing suicidal ideation in the clinical setting. After a brief review of the common factors associated with suicidal ideation and attempts, we will delve into the nuance involved in suicide assessment and prevention. Macro-level challenges will be explored, identifying factors associated with increased risk as well as pitfalls that create barriers to care.
