Social Work Micro-Credentials: A Digital Badge Credentialing Program

The Professional Education Team has been working diligently to create a series of social work CE intensives which are in-depth professional education courses. These are self-paced programs housed on a digital platform and they range between 15-30 CE credit hours. The knowledge you will gain in these programs will allow you to use your required hours of Continuing Education to take a deep dive into specific subject matter and become competent in a new area of practice.

NASW Accreditation: The Office of Continuing Education is proud to announce that 3 of our 4 CE intensives are now approved for NASW accreditation. Social workers who are practicing in other states (excluding NJ), are now eligible to receive social work credits for any CE intensive courses that has an NASW seal  next to it.

All participants who complete these programs will receive their CE hours via traditional certificate, as well as a digital badge that they can display on LinkedIn, social media platforms, resumes, and online portfolios. In addition, all of these programs have an equity and intersectionality and anti-racist component that was introduced as a requirement for all new professional programming. We made sure this is an integral part of the curriculum during the development of these programs and we ask participants to evaluate us on related metrics at the end of the program.
