Biography

Penelope Miller is the Center Coordinator for the Center on Race and Social Problems.  She works to plan, coordinate and develop the mission and purpose of the Center.   The CRSP conducts multi-disciplinary applied social science research and disseminates that knowledge with the goal of increased social justice in the community.  Penelope holds a master’s degree in professional writing from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree in English writing from the University of Pittsburgh.   Most recently she has held adjunct faculty appointments at the University of Pittsburgh and Community College of Allegheny County at Homewood-Brushton.  As a professional writer she worked in consulting, investment banking, human resources, education, science and medicine.
