Patricia Bamwine



Biography

Patricia Bamwine, MA, is a joint MSW/PhD student. She received her M.A. in Sociology from Western Kentucky University and her B.A. in Political Science from Campbellsville University. Prior to entering the University of Pittsburgh’s MSW program, Bamwine worked as the Education Programs Coordinator for the Braddock Youth Project. Bamwines’ primary research interests include youth exposed to violence and factors that mediate outcomes, the juvenile justice system, community engagement, and social service practice improvement.
