Biography

LauraEllen Ashcraft, MSW received her MSW from the University of Pittsburgh with concentrations in community organizing and social administration and her BASW from Millersville University of Pennsylvania with a minor in Spanish. Prior to returning to school for her PhD, Ashcraft worked as a Project Manager at the University of Pittsburgh, Department of Critical Care Medicine, in Health Policy and Management. Ashcraft’s research is health services research focused on healthcare access for low resource populations and translating science for policymakers
