Heath C. Johnson


Heath Johnson received his BA in Philosophy from Duquesne University, and his MSW from the University of Pittsburgh.  He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Social Work where his research interests include children’s experiences of parental incarceration, youth drug involvement, and community based service provision.  Prior to doctoral work, Mr. Johnson’s work history includes providing in-home services to youth with autism spectrum disorders, serving as a legislative assistant, conducting community-based program evaluations, and facilitating social action groups.

Mr. Johnson serves on Community Human Services [CHS] board of directors.   He lives in Pittsburgh’s Mt. Washington neighborhood with his wife and daughter.
