Eric Kyere




Eric Kyere is an international student from Ghana. He has a master of social work degree from the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in social work from the University of Ghana. Prior to joining the doctoral program at the University of Pittsburgh, Eric worked as a mobile therapist and behavioral specialist consultant in schools, and foster care manager in Lebanon County and Philadelphia. His research looks at racial socialization and parenting among minority groups, particularly African Americans, race relations and the impact on educational engagement and achievement outcomes for African Americans and the implications for disparities in schools. In addition, Eric;s research focuses on developing interventions for healthy youth development across racial and ethnic groups, program evaluations and international social work.
