Biography

BASW Program Director Gayle Malinger earned an MSW, as well as a BS in psychology, from Pitt.

Research Interests

  • Alternatives for permanent placement of children in foster care
  • Policy implications of links among family violence, substance abuse, and parental incarceration
  • Efficacy of alternative instructional modalities for curriculum delivery in social work education
