Biography

Doctoral candidate Yeonjung Lee received her MSW, as well as a BA in social welfare, from Chung-Ang University in Korea.

Before joining the Pitt social work school’s PhD program, Lee worked as a researcher in the Korea Labor Institute and was involved in a project for developing the Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging. Her research focuses primarily on gerontology and includes older adults in the labor force, retirement transition, and after retirement. Also, in methodology, she is interested in international and comparative social welfare and longitudinal data study.
