Biography
Associate Professor Catherine Greeno earned her PhD in psychology from Stanford University.
Greeno's primary interests are in bridging the gap between academic research and community mental health practice. An initiative with Family Service of Western Pennsylvania, an important community mental health provider, has led to work addressing community-based care for people with chronic mental illnesses, including a study of outcomes for people discharged from a state psychiatric hospital, work addressing engagement in outpatient services, and collaborative development and testing of a family model of therapy.
