Pennsylvania Child Welfare Center will Assist County with program funded by 1.8 million in federal grants!

Congratulations to the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center for being a part of the County’s $1.8 million in federal grants to help foster children! Allegheny County will receive nearly $2 million in federal grants to recruit and support foster parents, and Pennsylvania Child Welfare Center will assist the county with the programs funded by the grant. The county was one of seven communities nationally to receive the five-year grant, which totals $1,844,121 and comes from the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services. Read more in the Post Gazette.
