The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette article addresses the abuse sexual minorities face at school. Klahr is doing her field placement at the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network  (GLSEN ) where she is learning how to combat LGBT bias as well as how to "create safe, respectful and healthful learning environments" within schools.
