Associate Professor Mary Ohmer was invited to present her violence prevention research at the 30th Anniversary Memorial International Symposium: Community Practice in the Era of Globalization: Overcoming Poverty, Inequality and Exclusion next week in Tokyo, Japan. The symposium is also sponsored by the Japan National Council of Social Welfare, and the Japan Research Association for Community Development.
